Here is our super guide on how you can buy less, shop better but transform your look in the process.
"Make 2020 my most stylish year yet" Just like us, I am sure that many of you may have made the same New Year's resolutions, to get more stylish – sadly, we all came across some unexpected hurdles. But fear not, there is no reason why you can't use this time to get your wardrobe in order.
Do you hold onto old clothes? Panic buy items that still sit in the bottom of your wardrobe? Don't worry, you are not alone. We are all guilty of making silly decisions when it comes to our wardrobes. But, it doesn't have to be that way.
Here are some quick tips on how you can make space, save money and look the best you ever have.
1. The Tie-T
Take a look at your typical T-shirt. How can I make it look different?
Tying it in the middle or to the side will show off rather than hide your shape and give you a more refined look. You could also layer a turtleneck underneath to keep your belly from showing for those colder days. To make the perfect knot, tighten it so the knot hits just above your belly button. Simply team up with your favourite skinny jeans and trainers.
2. Belt Up
A belt really pulls your whole look together and carves out your figure too. Take a look at our Ageless Jumpsuit for an example. Pick out your best belt, club together with your favourite jewellery and you have a brand new look.
3. Cuff those jeans
Everyone has their favourite jeans, but a super easy upgrade can be by making ankle cuffs. It's a subtle style trick that immediately updates up an outfit you've worn a trillion times. Not to mention, it's the ideal way to show off your new footwear.
4. Add a bandana
If you're bored with all your necklaces, a handkerchief scarf or bandana is an easy way to take a simple outfit up a notch. There are so many ways you can wear it too.
Simply fold it in half and tie it behind your neck, leaving the pointed side in front.
You need to tightly roll it and tie it around your neck for an Insta-ready look. Having a bad hair day? Use it in place of a headband to keep your hair out of your face.
